Cookies and browser storage
Updated 23 September 2026
This notice covers cookies, local storage and the website's offline cache. The shop uses storage for requested functions such as remembering your basket and keeping you signed in.
What is stored
- Cookie notice: we remember when you dismiss the notice so it does not appear on every visit. Clearing site data resets this choice.
- Basket: product identifiers and quantities in local storage, retained until removed, checked out or cleared.
- Customer sign-in: account details and an expiring session token. Sign out on shared devices. Customer tokens expire after 30 days.
- Staff sign-in: the website admin token expires after eight hours. Drivers must sign in whenever they open or refresh the driver page. The authentication token is held only in the open page, for up to twelve hours, and is not saved in browser storage. A separate recovery ticket is kept in that tab's session storage so the same driver can recover assigned jobs after entering their name and password again. The recovery ticket cannot sign anyone in by itself.
- Catalogue and offline files: product data and public pages may be cached to make the shop load quickly. Payments, order updates and PIN checks require an internet connection.
Third-party services
Google sign-in and Stripe checkout may use their own storage when you use those services. Their notices explain those uses: Google and Stripe. Brevo is called by the server for order emails; its marketing tracker is not embedded here.
Your control
You can clear this website's stored data in your browser settings, which signs you out and removes the saved basket and cached files. Blocking necessary storage can prevent sign-in and ordering from working.
