Who handles your information

What we collect and why

We use your name, email, phone number, account details, basket and orders to provide the service you request. Delivery orders include your address, postcode and access instructions. We record payment status, refunds, order changes and handover verification. Drivers see the delivery information and PIN for orders assigned to their session. Authorised website admins can see collection and delivery PINs. The server verifies the PIN before a driver can complete a delivery.

We use these details to fulfil our contract with you. We use security logs, limited request counters and fraud checks for our legitimate interests in protecting the shop and customers. We retain records required to meet accounting and other legal obligations. Optional third-party sign-in is used only when you choose it. We do not sell personal information or use your contact details for marketing through this site.

Who we share information with

We use service providers for website hosting, secure payments, order emails and optional sign-in. They receive the information needed to provide those services. We receive payment references and status, not full card numbers. Authorised store staff and delivery drivers access the information needed to fulfil your order.

Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where required, appropriate safeguards or adequacy arrangements apply to those transfers.

Storage and retention

Account details remain while your account is active. Basket and sign-in information are stored in your browser until you sign out or clear site data; session tokens also expire. Order, payment, refund and audit records are retained where needed for fulfilment, accounting, disputes, fraud prevention or legal duties. Retention depends on the record and those purposes. Ask us for details about a particular record.

Deleting your account removes the active account and anonymises linked customer contact fields in website orders. It does not automatically delete records already held by payment or email providers, or records that must be retained by law. Contact us for a wider deletion request.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access or correct your data, request erasure or restriction, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or request portable data where the relevant right applies. Cookies and browser storage

Read our cookies and storage notice. The shop collects usage statistics and technical error reports to help maintain the service. Statistical requests include the page path, title and referring page. Error reports can include the page URL, referring page, browser information and technical error details. Saved analytics preferences affect whether usage tracking runs and whether a visitor identifier is stored.
